Astec Industries announced that its Board of Directors increased in size from nine to ten members and appointed William E. Waltz as a new independent director, effective October 29, 2026. Mr. Waltz will serve on the Compensation Committee and is currently President and CEO of Atkore, Inc., with prior leadership experience at Strategic Materials, Inc. Astec Industries manufactures specialized equipment for asphalt road building, aggregate processing, and concrete production.
