Century Casinos, Inc. entered into a Share Purchase Agreement on September 24, 2026, to sell the racing and gaming operations of Century Mile Racetrack and Casino in Edmonton and Century Downs Racetrack and Casino in Calgary to Highfield Investment Group for approximately $16.4 million. The transaction involves selling 100% of Century Mile and a 75% interest in Century Downs, with noncontrolling partners holding the remaining 25%. Proceeds will be used to reduce indebtedness, and annual rent obligations under the master lease with VICI Properties Inc. will decrease by approximately $7.5 million as Highfield assumes the new tenancy. The deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026 or first quarter of 2027, subject to regulatory approvals. Century Casinos operates casino entertainment properties primarily in the United States.

Century Casinos, Inc. reported financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2026, via a press release furnished on August 6, 2026. Consolidated net operating revenue increased 1% to $152.0 million, while earnings from operations rose 4% to $17.2 million. Adjusted EBITDAR grew 5% to $31.7 million.
